Subscription and Billing

Subscription Plans and Pricing

• Subscription Options: Monthly and yearly subscription plans are available
• Pricing: Subscription fees are as displayed in your App Store at the time of purchase and may vary based on your geographic location, promotional offers, user eligibility, or other factors
• Promotional Pricing: We may offer limited-time discounts, promotional rates, or special offers that differ from standard pricing
• Free Trial: New users may receive a free trial period as displayed in the App Store
• Price Confirmation: Your specific subscription fee will be clearly displayed before purchase and confirmed in your App Store receipt

Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are billed through your App Store account
• Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store account settings

Free Trial Details

• Trial Availability: Free trial periods, if offered, will be displayed in the App Store and may vary by user, region, or promotional campaign
• No Charges: No charges apply during any active trial period
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid automatic subscription charges
• Auto-Conversion: If you don't cancel, your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period at the rate displayed during purchase

Refunds

• Refund requests are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policy
• Contact Apple directly for refund requests
• We cannot provide refunds directly as all transactions are processed through the App Store

Your Data and Privacy

Data Ownership

• Your Personal Data Stays Yours: All habit tracking data, reflections, templates, and personal information remain on your device
• Local Storage Only: Your personal growth data is never sent to our servers
• Privacy Control: You maintain complete control over your personal information

When Your Subscription Ends

• Personal data remains on your device - All your habit tracking, reflections, templates, and personal data stays completely local on your device
• Only the subscription status is cleared locally
• Your personal development data is never sent to our servers and remains accessible on your device
• You may lose access to premium features but retain access to your data

Analytics

• We collect limited, anonymized analytics to improve the app
• No personal data or content is included in analytics

Acceptable Use

You May Use Compound Habits To:

• Track your personal habits and development
• Create reflection journal entries
• Use and customize templates
• Engage in personal development activities

You May Not Use Compound Habits To:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the app's functionality
• Use the app for any commercial purposes without permission
• Share your account access with others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

Content Standards

While your data stays on your device, we expect users to:

• Respect the intent of the app as a tool for positive personal growth
• Not use the app to track harmful or illegal activities

Platform Availability

• Compound Habits is currently available for iOS only
• System requirements are as displayed in the App Store listing
• Compatible with iPhone
• Future platform availability may be announced separately

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• Compound Habits, including its design, features, content, and functionality, is owned by Start in June LLC
• Our trademarks, service marks, and logos are protected
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our app

Your Rights

• You retain ownership of any personal content you create within the app
• You grant us no rights to your personal data as it remains on your device
• You may use the app according to these Terms

Disclaimer of Warranties

App Performance

• Compound Habits is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• We are not responsible for data loss, though your data remains on your device

Personal Development Results

• Compound Habits is a tool to support your personal development journey
• We make no guarantees about specific results or outcomes
• Success in personal development depends on your individual effort and circumstances
• The app is not a substitute for professional counseling or medical advice

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for third-party actions or content
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you

User Indemnification

Your Indemnification Obligations

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Start in June LLC, Compound Habits, and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

• Your use of the app: Any use that violates these Terms of Service
• Legal violations: Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

• Harmful content: Any content you create, store, or share through the app

Defense and Cooperation

Termination

• Delete the app to remove it from your device

By Us

• We may discontinue the app with reasonable notice
• Your local data will remain on your device even if the app is discontinued

Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time
• Changes will be posted in the app with an updated "Last Updated" date
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms
• Material changes will be communicated through the app or email

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution
